WRITING
Songwriting is the key: structure, chord progressions, melodies, hooks, lyrics, etc. It isn't astrophysics, but the songwriting process can be a major point of overthinking. Keeping it simple isn't the worst thing in the world when it comes to songwriting and it isn't the only answer either. Feel it and don't overthink it. We're here to help write, co-write, and remind you of this simple songwriting philosophy.
PRODUCTION
With a life-long background in rock/metal, years of experience in rap/hip-hop, EDM, indie, acoustic, country, and pop, our hands have touched just about every style of music. Writing and recording songs in and out of a variety of studios for the better part of the last 10 years, we know what it takes to produce an industry-standard track. There's no secret equation to production other than trusting your ears (and ours). However, solid production lays the groundwork for the final product. We'll help you get that covered.
RECORDING & ENGINEERING
This is the easiest part for us, technically speaking. We handle the recording/engineering process - setting up the gear needed for recording (mics, analog gear, Pro Tools, DAW, etc.). Alternatively, if you're an experienced audio engineer, you can rent out our studio to record, mix, and/or master your project (contact us for rates).
MIXING & POST-PRODUCTION
This is the meat and potatoes, so-to-speak. Once we've tracked your project, we will sit down and go through our top-down mixing and post-production process to make sure your project is nothing short of an extremely high quality, industry-standard mix that fits the style, narrative, and vision of your project. Nothing flat, dead, or bland about it, we'll make your mix come alive.
MASTERING
This is the final phase of your project - the final polishing and final touch to your project. This will make your mix ready for the airwaves. We expect to mix and master your project (depending on the scope of your project), but if you wish to have another audio engineer master your project, we can get that setup for you, no problem. Alternatively, if you already have a mix and you're looking to get it mastered, we can do that for you, no problem ($150 per song).
